Patriarchy is about male domination,
particularly within the context of the family, hence patriarchy. This is common knowledge.
It is also about female oppression as well as oppression of children. Many of these stupid
fucks would love to revert to a time when when womyn's lives were even more severely
constricted by patriarchy than they are at present, when husbands could legally beat and
rape their wives, when children could be horsewhipped within an inch of their lives, when
womyn had an extremely limited sphere and no political voice. Patriarchal 'societies'
cannot and must not be called civilizations. The rule of force, militarism, might makes
right, norm of violence, survival of the fittest, dog eat dog, etc., are the laws of the
jungle, not the laws of civilized peoples. There is no such thing as a warlike
civilization. It's a contradiction of terms. A society should be built on cooperation,
empathy and understanding, not on violence, oppression and seizure of power by control.
Only a civilized human being rejects patriarchy and fights against every aspect of it. Any
so-called 'men's rights advocate', 'masculist', 'father's rights organizer', etc. is a
thinly disguised misogynist. Just take a look at the writings of those who lay claim to be
such in this guestbook and the seething, frothing at the mouth mentality they all seem to
share. All it is is the patriarchal apologists fear of losing power and their priviledged
position in patriarchy. Any threat to this will be dissolved by governmental control and
oppression or by absurd groups who demand men's rights when in reality it is men who still
