Of the world�s top 50 banks in 2008, only 4 were US banks with combined assets of a mere $4.4 trillion, not much more than ONE bank in Scotland at $3.8 trillion. 5 banks were Japanese, 5 were Chinese, 6 were in the UK, 7 were French, 8 were German, and there were 3 Swiss & 3 Netherlands banks. Banks in the UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, and Japan had more assets than our top bank.
$3.8 trillion divided
amongst 5 million Scots is $760,000 per Scot, compared to $4.4 trillion divided
amongst 300 million Americans, or $14,667 per American.� But TWO banks in Scotland were in the top 50
with total assets of almost $5 TRILLION, or one million dollars [$1,000,000]
per Scot.
Government spending per American household BEFORE the �bailout� had already exceeded $44,000 annually, almost 20% higher than the average male income of $37,000.� Conversely, government spending per household in Japan is a mere $9,100 annually, contrasted with an annual average male income of more than $91,000.
