KJV: Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

NKJV: Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds.

NIV: So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.

The WE (Worldwide English) version of the Holy Bible was translated by Annie Crissman, allegedly so that "her students could easily understand". http://bible.gospelcom.net/bg/translations.html

This translation did NOT make things easier to understand, however. It completely obscures the original message of the Holy Bible as demonstrated by the original King James Version, the New King James Version, and the New International Version.

It is an EGREGIOUS error to substitute "love" for "adultery". Adultery is an act of hate, not of love. It is a violation of a solemn oath to God and of the promise to honor and obey your husband. It has been responsible for the destruction of more than 24 million families and 28 million children’s safety and security in just the last 2 decades in the US. It causes social pathologies of incalculable proportions, not the least of which is the doubling of the divorce rate, the tripling of the murder rate, the ten fold increase in the number of Americans behind bars in less than half a century.

To add insult to injury, it obscures the fact that the main message of this passage is to repent of your sins. This translator reduces this to merely stopping the sins. This difference is night and day. This is not merely a watering down the Word of God—it is blasphemy against God.

KJV: Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

NKJV: You who say, "Do not commit adultery," do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

NIV: You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples

Again, the meaning is completely changed. This is not an accusation that the audience of this scripture claims that "people must not commit adultery"
