Dark
 | <<<Song of Solomon 1:5 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of
Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.>>>>
|
Here is the CORRECT TRANSLATION:
 | (RSV) I am very dark, but comely, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of
Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon.
|
HOW did she get "dark"? To understand, you must read the next TWO
VERSES:
 | Son 1:6 Look not upon me, because I am dark, because the sun hath looked upon me:
my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but
mine own vineyard have I not kept. |
 | Son 1:7 Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest
thyflock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of
thy companions? |
Have we ever seen a nigger turn dark because "the sun hath looked upon me"?
Where? IN the vinyards? Have we ever seen a nigger turn "dark" from
working in a vinyard, under the sun?
Never.
This verse is proof that the author was WHTE who had a sunburn from working in the sun.
