Eunuch Contrary to popular belief, and "Christian" teachings, and church doctrine, and widely held public opinion, and televangelist prosphying, there is NO provision in God's Law which prohibits a eunuch from entering the congregation of the LORD. Thus, when Philip baptized the eunuch, he was NOT violating God's Law as so many "preachers", "pastors", and other religious "leaders" would have us believe:
So exactly WHAT was the purpose of the following verse written by Isaiah thousands of years ago?:
A eunuch IS a "dry tree", so exactly what is Isaiah getting at here? Is it at all possible that this a parody?
After thousands of years of Scripture which reports that Israelites are "God's holy people", how could Isaiah possibly get the authority to toss it all out and put a eunuch on a higher plane with God than a "ben" or "bath" of Jacob/Israel? Of course Isaiah does NOT have authority to toss out God's Law, remake His law, change a single tittle of the Torah, put "nikros" at a higher level than Israelites in the Israelite community, put eunuchs or any other imperfect creation of God in positions of authority and power over Israelites, so this MUST be a parody, eh?
