FATHER PLACEMENT COUNCIL How to Stay in Bankruptcy!
Father Placement Council A proposal was submitted to the Director of Social Services in bankrupt Orange County, California, Larry Leaman -- to offer children of mothers who apply for welfare to placement with their fathers. Not only would this save Orange County from the bankruptcy without raising taxes, but it would provide an opportunity for fathers to get reunited with their children -- which these children desperately deserve. This proposal had the support of Eloise Anderson, the Director of California's $34 Billion welfare system. It had the support of federal authorities. It was reportedly supported by Governor Wilson. It was supported by the American Fathers' Coalition. It certainly would have been supported by the current Congress. Mr. Leaman's response was less than adequate. He politely rejected the plan with the admonition that his office could not support such a proposal, and to not suggest to anyone that he would.
Newly appointed Orange County Supervisor Marian Bergesson also rejected the plan, saying: What did Marian say?
This rejection of a solid plan to reduce welfare expenditures, reduce fatherlessness, reduce social pathology, reduce taxes, reduce bureaucracy, reduce crime, and reduce illegitimacy is what spawned the FATHERS' MANIFESTOsm.
