Handwriting of ordinances which was against us Not a single hair of the head of a single Israelite was harmed when the Romans killed all the jews and destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem in 72 AD. Why? The Crucifixion wiped the charges which were against us for violating the Torah. Who is "us"? The House of Israel prior to 2,000 years ago when Christ was crucified. When did the House of Israel violate God's Law, or the Torah? For several thousand years before Christ was born. What did God do about it? He divorced the House of Israel. What did the pure sacrifice of Christ mean to God? It meant that God could remarry Israel. Can His sacrifice apply to future Israelites? No. Can His sacrifice apply to non-Israelites? No. Can His sacrifice nullify the everlasting covenant that God made with Abraham through Jacob? No. Can His sacrifice nullify His commandment to go only to the House of Israel? No. Can His sacrifice make null and void God's commandment to Christ to go only to the House of Israel? No. Can His sacrifice enable mamzers to enter the congregation of the LORD? No. Can His sacrifice cause one tittle of the Torah to fail? No.
