Israelites, Judea, Judah, and Jehudi

The English word "Israel" occurs in the Holy Bible 2,319 times where it's translated from the Hebrew word "Ysrael" and the Greek word "Israel".

The English word "Judah" occurs 771 times where it's translated from the Hebrew word "Yhudah" and the Greek word "Ioudas".

The English word "Judea" [or Judaea] occurs in the Holy Bible 44 times where it's translated from the Hebrew word "Yhud" and the Greek word "Ioudaia".

The English words "jew" and "jews" occur in the Holy Bible 276 times where they're translated from the Hebrew word "Yhudiy" and the Greek word "Ioudaios".

When a reference is to an Israelite from the Tribe of Judah, who were descendants of Judah [or Yhudah], the English word "jew" is never used--it's always the English word "Judah".  When a reference is to a descendant of "Yhudiy", the English words "Judah", "Judea", or "Israel" are never used--it's always the English word "jew".

Jehudi was a descendant of the Cushi in Ethiopia, who were descendants of Cush, a son of Ham, rather than the Israelite of the same name, Cush.
