Mothers Are Responsible for "ONLY" 55% of Child Killings!

How government "statisticians" promote anti-male stereotyping

The  Bureau of Justice System NCJ 143498 report includes:

	Men are one fifth as likely as women to be acquitted for the same crime.
	Men are 16% more likely to be imprisoned if convicted.
	Men receive prison sentences 2.7 times longer than women for the same crime.
	American men are 1,000 times more likely than Japanese men to be accused of sexual assault.
	Women are over half of the defendants (55%) in "only" one category of family murder: parents killing their offspring.
	Wives are twice as likely as husbands to kill their spouse with a knife.
	Wives are twice as likely as husbands to initiate a contract to kill their spouse.
	Each year, "500,000 women are raped in the US " (yet only 15,000 men are convicted of rape?)

Consider the vital information excluded from this important report:

	Biological fathers are 1/58th to 1/234th as likely as mothers to murder their own children.
	95 percent of school shootings involve boys removed by judicial fiat from their fathers.
	One third of men convicted and imprisoned for rape don't even match the DNA from the "crime scene".
	It reports " men were about twice as likely as women to experience acts of violence by strangers", but not that men are 5 times as likely as women to be murdered.
	Men are 5 times as likely as women to commit suicide.
	Those who grew up in SMHs (single-mother households) constitute 76% of the prison population.
	An SMH is 42 times more dangerous to a child than a firearm.
	It reports "28 percent of female homicide victims (1,414 women) were known to have been killed by their husbands, former husbands or boyfriends", but fails to note how many of the 1,414 were killed by husbands, and WHO killed the other 3,636--strangers?  Other females?   Police?

The Third National Incidence Study of Child Abuse and Neglect (NIS-3) from the US Department of Health and Human Services (call 1-800-FYI-3366 for a copy) reveals data about child abuse by mothers which is far more critical of single-mothers than previous Bureau of Justice Statistics reports

	Children are 3 times more likely to be fatally abused in Mother-only Households than in Father-only Households, and 73 times more likely in households where the mother cohabits.
	Compared to biological fathers, children are 59 times more likely to be fatally abused by women.
	Excluded is SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) which, if labled as murder, would increase the fatal child abuse rate by mothers by 4-10 fold.
	Children raised in Single-mother Households are 8 times more likely to become murderers than children raised in families.
	Even thought the statistical evidence show that damages from CSA (child sexual abuse) are statistically zero, 3.1 million reports of child abuse are filed against men each year, more than 90% of which are false.
	Outlaw CAPTA--post your suggestions to the "Child Abuse Message Board".

This statement on page 6-21 of the NIS-3 raises serious questions about the objectivity of the study:

Consistent with the fact that mothers and mother-substitutes tend to be the primary caretakers, 87 percent of all neglected children and 93 percent of physically neglected children suffered their neglect at the hands of female perpetrators.

What can you say about such a statement when,  only one chapter earlier is a table which shows that children in Father-only Households (where the mother is absent) are one-third as likely to be fatally abused as children in Mother-only Households (where the father is absent)?  Would it be correct to note that this is self-serving, absurd, non-sensical, erroneous, non-objective, anti-male, anti-fatherhood, anti-family, anti-Christian, anti-God, misleading statement which is ignorant of the facts?

The biased nature of this report can be better understood when you consider that the category "Both Parents Households" includes:

	Families
	Step-father Households
	Single-mother Households Where the Mother Cohabits

The following British study provides a more detailed breakdown of households by type, showing that children are 73 times more likely to be fatally abused in single-mother households where the mother cohabits:

This British data is consistent with most available US data.  For example, a study conducted by the US Office of Technology Assessment by Howard Dubowitz through a health program to evaluate child abuse, dated May 1987, entitled "Child Maltreatment in the US" reports:

"2.3% of sexual abuse of girls was by biological fathers versus 17% by stepfathers"

Furthermore, page 5-11, table 5-2 of NIS-3 shows that the rates of all kinds of child abuse are significantly lower in families with incomes greater than $30,000 per year than in those with incomes less than $15,000 per year.  There are few households with fathers present which earn less than $15,000, whereas there are few households with incomes greater than $30,000 with no fathers present, so it is entirely possible that all of these differences are the result of father presence rather than incomes.  In other words, both higher incomes and lower child abuse rates are positively associated with father presence and negatively associated with mother presence:

All of these data points are summarized in the following chart:

Of the 278 male perpetrators of fatal child abuse, only 30 were biological fathers, whereas 78% or 768 of the 984 female perpetrators of fatal child abuse were biological mothers.  Thus, compared to biological fathers, 32 times as many children are fatally abuse by females and 25 times as many are fatally abused by biological mothers.

NIS-3 highlights the fundamental flaw in feminist "logic" which contributed to the destruction of our society as women became the majority voter in the US in the 1960s.  This feminist flaw left ZERO PERCENT of American 12th grade girls able to correctly answer simple math questions.  It empowers feminists to make such dangerous and erroneous statements, perpetually and with impunity.

The data as presented suggests that the fatal child abuse rate is not reduced solely by the presence of fathers, because the father is also present in Both Parents, where the rate is 4 times higher than Father-only.  It is not reduced by the the presence of two parents because Both Parents has a rate 18% higher than Mother-only and 4 times higher than Father-only, neither of which includes two parents.  It is not reduced merely by the presence of biological parents, because Both Parents has a rate 25% higher than Neither Parent, where no biological parents are present. 

Instead, the chart illustrates that it is the absence of contact with biological mothers which reduces fatal child abuse.  The least amount of contact with biological mothers occurs in Father-only, which also has the lowest rate.  The next highest amount of contact with biological mothers occurs in Either Mother or Father where presumably contact is divided close to evenly between mothers and fathers and where the rate is 3 times higher than Father-only.  The next highest amount of contact occurs with Neither Parent and Mother-only, which are respectively 3.2 and 3.4 times higher than Father-only.  The highest amount of contact occurs in Both Parents where more than half of mothers don't work and thus are at home with their children, who are 4 times more likely to be fatally abused than children in Father-only households. The fact that Neither Parent has a rate 3.2 times higher than Father-only is evidence that biological mothers and non-biological mothers are equally dangerous to children.

However, accepting this study as is demonstrates that not even the federal expenditure of $285 billion per year for CAPTA to "prevent child abuse" was successful at  reducing the incidence rate of fatal child abuse in mother-only households to a rate even close to that for mother-absent households.  The conclusion could be that immediately placing the 28 million fatherless children in this nation with their natural fathers would reduce their chances of being fatally abused by three fold AND save $285 billion per year.

	"False allegations of child abuse" is a $285 billion per year industry.
	"Child abuse" more than quadrupled AFTER the Mondale Act was passed.
	Janet Reno's career was built on false accusations of child abuse.
	Andrea J. Sedlak is the author who concealed the fact that biological fathers are one thirtieth as likely as mothers to murder their children.
	The concensus of her "study" is that 100% of American parents are guilty of "child abuse" each year and a half.
	Blind dumb feminists like her contributed to our achieving the world's highest divorce rate, bar none.

Highlights of NIS-3:

	Table 5-3 shows that children in mother-only households are three times more likely to be fatally abused [read: murdered] than children in father-only households.
	Table 5-4 shows that children in mother-only households are 40% more likely to be sexually abused than children in father-only households.
	Table 6-4 shows that females are 78% of the perpetrators of   fatal child abuse [read: child murder], 81% of natural parents who seriously abuse their children, 72% of natural parents who moderately abuse their children, and 65% of natural parents who are inferred to have abused their children.
	Table 6-3 shows that natural mothers are the perpetrators of 93% of physical neglect, 86% of educational neglect, 78% of emotional neglect, 60% of physical abuse, and 55% of emotional abuse.
	Table 6-3 also shows when the perpetrator is a non-natural parent, that males [read: non-biological fathers] are the perpetrators of 90% of physical abuse, 97% of sexual abuse, 74% of emotional abuse, and 82% of educational neglect.
	Table 5-2 shows that children are 20 times more likely to be fatally abused, 22 times more likely to be seriously abused, 20 times more likely to be moderately abused, and 18 times more likely to be sexually abused in households earning less than $15,000 per year [read: father-absent households] than in households earning more than $30,000 per year [read: father-present households].
	Table 4-2 shows that boys are four times more likely to be fatally abused and 24% more likely to be seriously abused than girls .
	Table 3-4 shows that between 1986 and 1993, as the number of single-mother households increased dramatically, fatal child abuse increased 46% and serious child abuse increased four fold.
	Mothers murder 58 to 234 times as many children as fathers.
	David Besharov, who helped design NIS, suspects that the quadrupling of child abuse reports in the US was due solely to "methodological changes" in NIS-3.

It reports "Firearms were used in 42% of family murders" but it fails to report that 249,980,000 of the nation's 250,000,000 firearms were NOT used to murder someone last year.

If men were acquitted as often as women, rather than 2 million American men in prison, there would now be only 400,000. If men were acquitted as often as women AND were no more likely to be imprisoned if convicted, there would be only 345,000 men in prison. If men were acquitted as often as women, were no more likely to be imprisoned if convicted, AND received prison sentences equivalent to those for women for the SAME crime, there would now be only 128,000 men in prison.

This would be an incarceration rate of 46.7 per 100,000 population, which is "only" 15% higher than Japan's.

It is anti-male bias by the very same justice system which is allegedly consumed in fighting anti-female bias which makes a mockery of the term "justice".

The report "NCJ 153258 Child Victimizers and Their Victims: BJS Special Report ....The study uses data from the 1991 BJS Survey of State Prison Inmates and the FBI's 1992 Supplementary Homicide Report, which includes data on child murder victims (nearly 3,000 in 1992) and offenders who murdered children", states that more than twice as many children are murdered as were reported by NIS-3. 

NIS-3, Table 6-4 shows that 1,500 children were fatally abused in 1993--1,200 by natural parents, and 78% by females.   Since the data for the percent of non-natural parents [read: step-fathers and live-in boyfriends] who fatally abused their chilidren is missing, the assumption is made that the percent of perpetrators of fatal abuse by non-natural fathers is an average of Table 6-3 (90%, 97%, 74%, 82%, or 86%).  28 million children are now growing up in fatherless households, where the rate of fatal child abuse is 0.017 per 1,000 children, so 476 children were fatally abused in mother-only households in 1993.  2.8 million children are now growing up in father-only households where the rate of fatal abuse is .005 per 1,000 children, so 14 children were fatally abused in father-only households in 1993.
