Deuteronomy 20:12 And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then
thou shalt besiege it:

20:13 and when Jehovah thy God delivereth it into thy
hand, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
Deuteronomy 20:14 but the women, and
the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof,
shalt thou take for a prey unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies,
which Jehovah thy God hath given thee.
Deuteronomy 20:15 Thus shalt thou do
unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these
nations.
Deuteronomy 20:16 But of the cities of
these peoples, that Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive
nothing that breatheth;
Deuteronomy 20:17 but thou shalt
utterly destroy them: the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, and the Perizzite, the
Hivite, and the Jebusite; as Jehovah thy God hath commanded thee;
Deuteronomy 20:18 that they teach you
not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so would ye
sin against Jehovah your God.
Deuteronomy 20:19 When thou shalt
besiege a city a long time, in making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy
the trees thereof by wielding an axe against them; for thou mayest eat of them, and thou
shalt not cut them down; for is the tree of the field man, that it should be besieged of
thee?
Deuteronomy
20:20 Only the trees of which thou knowest that they
are not trees for food, thou shalt destroy and cut them down; and thou shalt build
bulwarks against the city that maketh war with thee, until it fall.

Numbers 21:1 And the Canaanite,
the king of Arad, who dwelt in the South, heard
tell that Israel came by the way of Atharim; and he fought against Israel,
and took some of them captive.
Numbers 21:2 And Israel vowed a vow unto Jehovah, and
said, If thou wilt indeed
deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.
Numbers 21:3 And Jehovah hearkened to the voice of
Israel, and delivered up the
Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and the name
of the place was called Hormah.

Obadiah
1:18 And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the
house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall burn among
them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining to the house of Esau; for
Jehovah hath spoken it.
Obadiah 1:19 And they of the
South shall possess the mount of Esau, and they of the lowland the Philistines; and they
shall possess the field of Ephraim, and the field of Samaria; and Benjamin shall possess
Gilead.
Obadiah 1:20 And the captives of
this host of the children of Israel, that are among the Canaanites, shall possess even unto Zarephath; and the captives of Jerusalem, that are in Sepharad, shall
possess the cities of the South.
Obadiah
1:21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge
the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be Jehovah's.
