Personal salvation is never discussed in a single verse of the Old Testament, nor by Jesus Himself, nor even by Paul [other than in mistranslations of Paul]. Jesus stated clearly that His audience was the House of Israel, not the House of Judah, and rarely individual Israelites. When "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies'", He clearly states that the individiual Israelite does die, but the House of Israel which lives after him propagates his posterity with everlasting life.
