The Polio Epidemic

There is a dearth of information about the magnitude of the polio "epidemic" which led to mass media hysteria and the innoculation of the human race with the SV40 virus cultured in dead green monkeys.   Mostly there are references to the "thousands of children who contracted polio", which are all accurate, but which are also highly misleading when almost every one of those references fails to note that paralytic polio is only one out of every one thousand cases of polio, and that less than a third of paralytic polio cases led to the premature deaths of its victims.  Of the 33,250 cases of polio in 1950, at the height of this "epidemic", it's entirely possible, if not probable, that there were only 33 were paralytic polio cases and 9 deaths.

But in that same year, 738,390 Americans died of heart disease, 208,078 died of cancer, 53,152 died of flu and pneumonia, 43,035 died of diabetes, 43,881 died in an auto accident, 12,261 committed suicide, 7,550 died from DIARRHEA, 4,133 were murdered, and 2,190 were murdered by a black American.   Paralytic polio is certainly a traumatic disease, but to the average American, the risk of dying of heart disease, even at the height of this polio "epidemic", was more than 22,000 TIMES as great as the risk of contracting paralytic polio, and more than 82,000 times as great as the risk of dying from it.  Americans under the age of 24 were 44 times more likely to die from heart disease, 25 times more likely to die from cancer, 106 times more likely to die from the flu or pneumonia, 325 times as likely to die in an auto accident, 55 times as likely to commit suicide, 23 times as likely to die from DIARRHEA, 34 times as likely to be murdered, and 18 times as likely to be killed by a black American, than they were to contract polio.

If the "solution" applied to traffic fatalities had been commensurate with the mass hysteria induced government "solution" applied to polio in the 1950s, each American car would have been confiscated and ground up into graphite dust, design plans for automobiles would have been seized from auto manufacturers and destroyed, auto manufacturing would have been outlawed, the right foot of any American whoever used it to apply pressure to a gas pedal would have been cut off, any employee whoever participated in the manufacture of gasoline would have been prohibited from ever working again, we would have reduced to a nuclear winter any country with an oil producing capacity--and still the damage done to the human race would have been inconsequential compared to innoculating it with multiple unknown viruses from dead green monkeys.
