The Sabbath was instuted on the 7th Creation day.....the day
that Adam sinned on.
Which incidentally was approx 6000 years ago...........
Therefore we approach another (1000 yr) Sabbath very soon....

Jack you must be a SDV. Speaking of the
Sabbath it's interesting that from Adam to Moses no one observed a Sabbath it wasn't
instituted until Moses (Exodus 20 KJV)

Re: Catholic Church
Christ said, "the Sabbath was made for man
and not man for the Sabbath". Christ said this is a day or rest but emergencies
permitted. God did not change the Sabbath day, it is Saturday from Sundown Saturday to
Sunup Sunday.....Jack

Have you seen this? From the St. Catherine
website.
Perhaps the boldest thing, the most revolutionary change the Church ever did, happened
in the first century. The holy day, the Sabbath, was changed from Saturday to Sunday.
"The Day of the Lord" (dies Dominica) was chosen, not from any directions noted
in the Scriptures, but from the Church's sense of its own power. The day of resurrection,
the day of Pentecost, fifty days later, came on the first day of the week. So this would
be the new Sabbath. People who think that the Scriptures should be the sole authority,
should logically become 7th Day Adventists, and keep Saturday holy.Source: Sentinel,
