Salvation

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. John 4:22

And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. Luke 19:9

To True Israelites, the genetic descendants of Jacob/Israel, the most irritating misunderstanding of Scripture in the Holy Bible is what jews and judeochristians believe is meant by "slavation is of the jews".  What kind of "slavation" could the jews who ultimately crucified and brutally murdered Jesus have offered to the Israelite woman (the "Samaritan") who He met at Jacob's well?  The same kind of "salvation" they offered Jesus?   Or worse?

It's been speculated that the word "jew", which is translated here from Ioudaios [#2453], should have been translated as "Judaea", rather than "jew".  But then we must ask what kind of salvation anybody in Judaea at the time, which included Romans, jews, Israelites of the House of Israel, Israelites of the House of Judah, Edomites, Canaanites, and other races, could have offered to an Israelite woman.  And we must question why "salvation" would come from Judaea when Jesus was from Galilee, in the other direction.

It's notable that Jesus never offered her personal salvation, but instead used a word which suggests that she would be saved FROM the jews in Judaea.  After all, her complaint was that "the jews have no dealings with the Samaritans", yet still forced everyone to go to the temple in Jerusalem to "worship the father".  Jesus told her that she would no longer have to go there and could instead "worship the father" right there on that mountain.

Note also that in Luke 19:9, Jesus tied salvation to being a son of Abraham, and in Acts 13:26 Paul ties salvation to being of the stock of Abraham:

Act 13:26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

Modern judeochristians would hate Paul for tying salvation to the stock of Abraham, who Paul called his "brethren" and excluded all others by saying that "this salvation [is] sent" ONLY to this genetic seedline.

Luk 1:77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

Luk 2:30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

Luk 2:31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

Luk 3:6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

Luk 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
