I just thought I'd let you know that Dad passed away yesterday. It is

quite a shock to us as he seemed to be doing so well. He went to the

doctor on Monday and the doctor was amazed that he was doing so well.

His lungs seemed to really clear up from the things we were doing to

try to get rid of the cancer. On New Year's Eve he had some discomfort

in his abdomen or intestinal area and became so painful that we had to

call the Hospice nurse. She gave Dad morphine to ease the pain. It took

quite a bit of it to make him fall asleep. The next day we tried to

arouse him every little bit, but each time he would drift back off to

sleep. On Friday it was harder to arouse him at all. He died very

peacefully and and did not have to suffer.

He was a very "special" father and will be greatly missed. I know that

he is with the Lord, whom he loved so very much.

He was so happy that you called him last week. He really enjoyed

talking to you.

looking at this website for at least three months. On November 2 they

began occurring all over the world at the same time. Now there are

sometimes as many as three large ones a day over the whole world at the

same time.
