iq vs. TIMSS 1999

 

The correlation between iq and standardized test scores like IAEP and TIMSS is unmistakable. The dozens of nations with iq's lower than 70, mostly African nations, have annual per capita incomes of less than $600 per year, whereasthe top dozen nations with iq's higher than 100, Asian and European nations, have annual per capita incomes approaching $60,000-80,000.  The 47 iq point gap between Equitarial Guinea of 59 and Taiwan of 106 is equivalent to an $80,000 gap in annual incomes, meaning that each 1 point increase in iq is equivalent to a $1,702 increase in annual income.
