Virgin
The "church" uses the following verse as proof that the virgin birth of Jesus was prophesied:
The problem is that "virgin" in this Verse was translated from the Hebrew word "almah" [Strong's number 5959], which even the KJV translated as "maid" and "damsel" when the word "virgin" didn't fit the context. Had this passage intended to refer literally to a virgin, rather than a "maid" or "damsel", then the Word of God would have used the Hebrew word "bethu^la^h" [#1330] which DOES mean virgin, and which even the KJV translated as virgin THIRTY EIGHT TIMES.
