U.S. Taxpayers Party 1996 National Platform~ Family ~ We affirm that the law of the Creator creates and defines marriage as the union between a man and a woman, and the family. We further affirm that no state may authorize marriage and family relations contrary to that law. Therefore, no state is obliged by the full faith and credit clause of the United States Constitution to enforce any state law governing marriage and the family which conflicts with the law of the Creator.

State of Washington SECTION 1 POLITICAL POWER. All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, and are established to protect and maintain individual rights.
