In a recent debate on feminism, Yaya made the comment that she doesn't trust any "study" in reference to statistics collected at great expense and effort by many different governments and industries. While it's obvious that there's a "liberal" bias to government data and an economic bias to industry data, it's possible, and necessary, to compare the two and reach a concensus about what is the most accurate. We cannot just toss it all out, rely only on the obviously biased jewsmedia view, and expect to make responsible voting decisions. The particular point she was disputing is that government spending as a percent of GDP had increased from 2% to officially 44% in less than a century (and specifically since the passage of the 19th Amendment), and that it was the passage of the 19th Amendment which caused government spending to skyrocket like this. While she's correct that the accuracy of the data must be questioned, she's incorrect to toss it all out and rely only on her own imagination. If she intended to say that the data is 5% too high, or 10% too low, this is one thing, but to simply ignore it altogether is a dog that can't hunt. |
