Yuna KimAt the moment Yuna Kim won a woman's figure skating Gold Medal in the 2010 Olympics, she was 29 points behind the MAN from Los Angeles who won the men's figure skating Gold Medal (228 vs. 257). Her own coach had missed a Gold Medal, twice, by one tenth of a point, so a 29 point gap is worth mentioning. Evgini Pluskehko from Russia had scored 258.33 four years earlier in Torino to win a Gold Medal and Setphane Lambiel had scored 231.2 to win a Silver Medal. |
